27 Years of Dedication!

Life-Long Best Friends Celebrate 27 years working together at Jeff Lynch Appliances!

It's important to recognize employees on their service anniversaries and significant milestones.  Rowdy and Stan are no exception!  We wish to congratulate both Rowdy and Stan on achieving their 27th anniversary with us! We know they have worked hard for this accomplishment and we truly appreciate their dedication!

As such significant part of our team we wanted to share some of their experience and advice.

Rowdy

1. What has been the best part of working here?
Working here has given me a large, extended family. Some of my best friends are my co-workers, and I have met so many wonderful customers over nearly three decades who have become lifelong friends as well.

2. To younger individuals, what's the best piece of advice you can offer them about how to find a job you love and stay there forever?

Roll with the punches and take it one day at a time. Don't take life to seriously -- you will never get out of it alive anyway.  Every customer is important, so treat every chance meeting as an opportunity to gain a new client and build your financial future here.  Oh yeah, finally, laugh and smile daily.

3. What is your best memory?

My best memory starts with the original Jeff Lynch store on Pleasantburg Drive, and the day Jeff Lynch hired me. From those humble beginnings, Mark Lynch has grown that one small store into an incredible family-owned business. There hasn’t been a day that I’ve worked here in nearly three decades where I haven’t laughed.

4. What are you looking forward to in the next 5-10 years?

I look forward to retirement and enjoying more time with my wife, family and friends in the mountains. And, passing the torch to the next generation at so they can continue to build on a great legacy.

Stan

1. What has been the best part of working here?

Friendships I have made with fellow employees, customers, and builders. Also, being an integral part of a family business that was really small and blossomed into what it is today.

2. To younger individuals, what's the best piece of advice you can offer them about how to find a job you love and stay there forever?

Know that there will be highs and lows but God is with you at all times. Be the person you want to work beside.

3. What is your best memory?

All the times I got to laugh uncontrollably, pull pranks and have a blast with the people I work. And of course… The Clos-a-Matic Club, what a blessing!

4. What are you looking forward to in the next 5-10 years?

Watching God continue to protect and grow this Christian based business and defy all the odds. Growing my faith and watching my family develop in its next chapter of life, as well as, all the younger employees crossing so many wonderful thresholds in their lives and getting to share it with them.
