The Daffodils are in bloom, the days are getting longer, and Saint Patrick's Day is around the corner! I thought it would be fun to research and share a few March facts. Not a surprise to me, if you were born in March, your birth flower is a daffodil! I love to see these flowers show up every year! One year used to be 10 months long staring in March and ending in December on old Roman Calendars!  By there calendars I am a lot older than I thought I was! This year during the Vernal Equinox which is March 20 th   at 5:24 p.m. sun is directly above the equator!     What does this mean?     It means the day and night are equal length! March and June finish on the same day of the week, every year! The Romans deadline to settle debts was called the “Ides of March” was considered to be March 15 th .     Coincidentally it was also the day Julius Caesar was assassinated.
