HOW TO USE A WARMING RACK

Image
1/16/18 Shared from our friends at Weber Grills Pretty much every full-size gas model that we make comes with a warming rack, but a lot of the time they go underutilized, which is a shame since there are so many great ways to use them. Here are some different ways to put your warming rack to use! #1) Keep things warm  - This one seems like a no brainer given the name, but a warming rack is a great place to just move food to that’s done or almost done that you just need to keep warm for a bit while other food is finishing grilling. Got a few pieces of chicken that are pretty much done but some others that need a little more time? Move them to the warming rack to get them out of the way to keep them from over cooking, but keep them warm! #2) Secondary grilling area  – There are times when I’m grilling a lot of things that call for direct, high heat, like burgers, brats and hot dogs, but I also want to grill something that takes a bit longer and doesn’t need the direct, h

A walk down Memory Lane

A long-time customer visited our store recently.  He has shopped at Jeff Lynch Appliance and TV Center since the 1950s and he personally knew our founder Jeff Lynch.  We just love it when a seasoned customer stops by for a chat.   It's so enjoyable to hear stories about Mr. Lynch and the loyalty of his customers.  Many of us never had the chance to meet him so we savor these nuggets of the past. This particular customer was looking for a new laundry pair.  The last one he purchased from us was a Maytag set in 1995.  It was starting to give out on him.  1995!  He went on to tell us that the pair he purchased in 1995 was to replace the pair he purchased from us in 1972.   So in 45 years he owned just two washers and dryers.  Isn't that amazing?!? He even had his old paperwork showing where he purchased his first set in 1972 from Jeff Lynch and the 1995 set from Mark Lynch. Oh the joys of walking down memory lane.
